We liked the first set so much, we ordered a second set. They are very bright....I love it!! They will work on a timer as long as you don't connect the dimmer. Recommend SMY Lighting.

I added 6 well lights to my front yard and this simple power supply is sized right to supply the right amount of wattage to the lights. This is a 65w power supply and rule of thumb is never go beyond 80% of that rating. So the max draw should be no more than 52w. This rule does not take in consideration of loss due to wire size and length. If I was running a short 10' run I can get away with using 14-16awg, but I like using 12awg best. Having a larger gauge wire will have less loss and I can run it longer. In addition, larger gauge wire is recommended for outdoors because as time goes by and with aging or loose connections, power loss will increase. The large gauge wire will give a little a buffer. All this will ensure the lights get the power needed and both the lights and power supply will last longer. because I only needed a few lights for the pathway, this compact power supply is prefect. It has a built in photo-cell so lights go on at night and off at sunrise. or it can be set to turn on at sunset and turn off after a period of time. Simple and all I need for my purpose. This Blue Light Therapy Lamp is superior. As the previous owner of another brand of lamp, I can knowledgably state that this lamp is far better. For one thing, the light panel is considerably larger, providing a broader field of soothing light. For another, unlike my previous brand, the 2-level intensity of this lamp is soft and relaxing, rather than harsh and annoying. In addition, the 10- 20- and 30-minute timer intervals shut off automatically when time is up, a great advantage when I‘m too busy on my computer to keep track of therapy session length. All in all, I’m very pleased with this product—and its price—and I recommend it with confidence.
